Upcoming Event: Training on Making Foam Mattresses

We are teaming up with a local manufacturer in Kenya Industrial Skills Training Programme for a course in Making Foam Mattresses.
Participants will be trained on how to manufacture STANDARD quality high density Mattresses.
Silas, our Senior Chemical Technician, together with other trainers will talk about PROCESS ROUTES for the production of polyurethane precursors and PHOSGENATION of DIAMINES (which forms Di-isocyanate) that are used as catalysts in chemical manufacturing of mattresses.
Edward, a senior engineer will train the participants on how to fabricate Foam Injection Moulds and foam blowing processes.
A veteran industrial chemistry consultant, a Mr Herman, will give a key note on Foam Mattresses business in East Africa.
He will also teach Basic technologies like esterification, transesterification, epoxydation, ring-opening reaction, ethoxylation and propoxylation results in the production of versatile polyols for the polyurethane industry.
Each participant will be given ample time to practice and re-practice. Each trainee will go home with own-made sample of a high quality mattress.
